"Robotic Agrosystems" formed the largest fleet of sprayers in Europe

More than 118 drones will be sprayed on Ukrainian fields.
The company "Robotic Agrosystems" has formed in Ternopil the largest fleet of sprayers in Europe, numbering 118 units of unmanned vehicles. In total, these are 56 mobile teams that will cultivate more than 500,000 hectares of crops in the 2022 agricultural season. As last year all service companies cultivated about 1 million hectares, this year's plans show a rapid growth of the market for the application of PPE by sprayers.
The large-scale order for the delivery of XAG brand drones has been fulfilled by DroneUA, with which Robotic Agrosystems has been cooperating since 2019. In particular, in early 2022 the company received the first delivery, the remaining drones will be delivered in the next few months.
According to DroneUA co-founder Valery Yakovenko, this order was by far the largest in the company's history. In general, cooperation with Robotic Agrosystems began with the purchase of two drones by the company's owner Ivan Tchaikovsky. "Next - there were a few small, compared to the last, deliveries. In 2021, the Robotic Agrosystems team completed the season with 18 units of unmanned vehicles, cultivating about 100,000 hectares. And at the end of the year Ivan Tchaikovsky came to us with an order for 100 drones, "Yakovenko described the situation.

The active growth of the sprayer drone market is undoubtedly due to the increasing demand for this type of service among farmers. For example, last year the price almost peaked during peak periods, while remaining completely competitive compared to traditional technology. Both prolonged rains and farmers' understanding of justified savings contributed to the growth in the number of orders. In addition, according to Ivan Tchaikovsky, when working with rinsing drones, farmers can save up to 30% of pesticides, 95% of water and 95% of fuel. In general, last year the demand for rinsing drone services was extremely high. "The teams worked very intensively during the season and almost around the clock. Therefore, investing in so many drones is not an impulsive decision. The market is growing and will continue to grow at times, "Tchaikovsky commented

According to Valery Yakovenko, the market for sprayer drone services will grow fivefold each year, both in Ukraine and abroad. "Already, Ukraine is significantly ahead of European countries in the intensity of the introduction of airborne drones. Moreover, according to the results of 2021, we have become the G1 country in the world for the integration of XAG brand drones, bypassing such leaders as Brazil and Argentina. Knowing the world market from the inside, we can unequivocally say that we are moving much faster, "he added.
An important task for "Robotic Agrosystems" is the creation of jobs in different regions of Ukraine: so, buying 100 drones, the company creates more than 120 jobs to provide work in the season up to 50 mobile teams.
